With a penchant for high-voltage electronic music Chooc Ly’s DJ sets present a varied selection, forging astral connections through spectrums of Techno, arabic futuristic club music, Afrobeat, Hip hop, through to fusions we haven’t found names for yet.

SAMI BAHA (Planet Mu) https://soundcloud.com/samibahaA Turkish beatmaker inspired by Dirty South hip-hop producers like DJ Screw, Sami Baha crafts slow, moody tracks with miles-deep bass and explosive samples. Baha was born in Istanbul, and his music is heavily informed by the popular Turkish music that he grew up with, even if it more closely resembles a spaced-out instrumental take on Southern rap. He contributed tracks to online Turkish hip-hop compilations during the early 2010s, and after receiving attention, he moved to London in 2015. His debut EP Mavericks was issued by Planet Mu in April of 2016.

She is interested in how dance is perceived through the prisms of race, queer culture, gender and class. Her practice is driven through Dance, and her outcomes range from dances, performance, Live Art, Sound, Film, and Objects. Zinzi is interested in the space between Dance and Art and is creating a habitat between the two worlds
