Artist collective Have you eaten yet?, club night organisers DÉCALÉ and Asia Art Activism network are proud to present LUNAR LATE — a one-night-only celebration of performance art, live music and participatory interventions welcoming the Year of the Rabbit!

“When dusk arises, agitated spirits awake
A night on planet earth, Décalé
A platform for nocturnal creatures, loud existential insurgents;
disobedient children will come together & rise from the dark
to encounter experimental collapsing & flawless sounds / visuals / people to declare together the unspoken & embrace the hybrid and reactive nature of our collective experience.

Together we will re-write reality for an alternate tomorrow.”

Tu-er Shen 兔兒神 the Rabbit deity of queer affections arrives, bringing you a night of participatory interventions, decadent performances and DJ sets dancing into the night. The night opens with reading karaoke for celebrating Asia-Art-Activism’s fresh publication, ‘Experiments in Care and Collective Disobedience’ led by Youngsook Choi, followed by ‘Of earth, sea and air’, a nourishing Yusheng participatory remix led by Annie Jael Kwan and Jessie Jing, and queer rabbit tattooing by Yarli Allison.

The evening then features performances by the lively Filipinx-Irish-British entertainer Sam Reynolds with his signature non-strip cabaret piece ‘Spell’. Have you eaten yet? Collective to follow with a second adaptation of their satirical performance ‘NIAN is here!’ taking you through the journey of exorcism that laughs off anti-Asian hatred in solidarity, serving you sneezy spices, Tao magic, middle fingers en masse and money rain!

Princess Xixi, takes over the DJ decks with an immersive set weaving an eclectic journey through bars, rhythm and bass that will transport you from scatty warehouse sound systems to the streets of Shenzhen - and everywhere in between. Xixi is joined by special guest East London rapper Reptile B dishing out heavy duty bars over garage, grime, footwork and more.

Finally we’ll dance the night away to DJ Chooc Ly’s dance-floor focused set, forging astral connections through spectrums of club music and futuristic sound. Exuberant and energetic sounds that nods to her mixed-heritage (Afro/Vietnamese/Cambodian) and working-class background (from the French banlieue).
