IMS project
is a group of artists and scientists who explore new frameworks for knowledge production through the realisation of events and exhibitions. At each of its outings the group of musicians, curators, visual artists and scientists reconfigure their collaboration to respond to a new context. Members of the group are based in the UK, France, Colombia, Mexico and the US. Straddling distances and disciplines, the group utilises the gap and tensions between its members’ fields of research to produce forms of knowledge that extend beyond those proposed by contemporary art.
